Some dogs wait a little longer for the perfect match.
Our old‑timer dogs have been with us for 3+ years, patiently waiting for their forever home. We’re looking for adopters ready to take on one of the most rewarding experiences there is: giving a long‑waiting dog the second chance they’ve been holding out for.
Meet Sundae
An 11-year-old cattle dog. Sundae is our longest resident, waiting over 7 years for a home that can give her the job and structure she needs to thrive. She can be reactive or show guarding behavior in stressful situations. While Sundae certainly has her challenges, she is incredibly loving and loyal to her people.
Likes: Herding
Dislikes: Buses
Needs a stand-alone adult-only home, with herding breed experience.

Meet Stella
A 9-year-old lab/pit mix. Stella wants nothing more than to have a home where she can get lots of cuddles, treats and attention. Once she knows you she is sweet as a button and loves her people deeply. She needs a family that has dog reactivity experience.

Meet Astro
A 10-year-old Chow/Lab mix. Don't let his serious face fool you, he's a goofy sweet guy. He can be slow to warm up but once he has, he'll take all the pets you can give.

Meet Molly
A 10-year-old lab mix. Molly came to the US from Afghanistan after being rescued by some soldiers. She is sweet, playful and active and will need a home that can keep her well exercised. She loves people and loves attention.
Likes: Rolling in the grass & vocalizing

Adult-only stand-alone home. Very vocal.

Meet Essie
A 7-year-old lab/shepherd mix. Essie is super sweet, active and bouncy. She is very loving to people and will thrive in a home that wants to give her all the love she deserves. She is an active girl requiring daily activity.

Meet Ghost
A 6-year-old Malamute mix. Ghost is incredibly friendly, happy and loves to play around outside with his people! He is a leaner and loves pets and attention too. He is large (75-80lbs) and will need an adopter who can handle his size, strength, and his desire to be cuddled up in your arms!

Meet Little Mama
A 7-year-old pit mix. Little Mama bonds to her people and will love her forever family very deeply. She would love a family that has a home and yard to explore and play in. She enjoys walks, cuddling on the couch, zoomies in the yard and treats!

Meet Cody
An 8-year-old boxer/shepherd mix. Cody is such a sweet boy, and deserves to spend his golden years in a warm and loving home. He still has quite a bit of energy for an older pup and would love a home that will take him on walks to explore, and better yet, a home with his own fenced yard to run and play!

A 7-year-old cattle dog/pit mix. RJ is a handsome, athletic, and intelligent companion who’s ready to find a home that truly understands him. RJ is looking for a committed, experienced dog owner who understands behavioral needs and is ready to give him the structure and love he deserves. He’s not a beginner dog, but for the right person or family, he’ll be an incredibly loyal and rewarding companion

A 5-year-old malinois. Junnie is a happy and sweet boy once he gets to know you. He loves to play and will make a great outdoors (hiking/camping/running etc) partner! He will require an active family that has experience with working breeds.

A 5-year-old cattle dog. Bandit is a very happy, friendly, and intelligent boy who learns very quickly. He is also very energetic and playful and would spend ALL DAY playing fetch with his person if he could.

A 5-year-old shar pei/pit mix. Skye is very smart and knows sit, lay down, spin, wait and will work for treats! She recently completed a 6-week training course with a local trainer. Skye is very loving with people and loves to play ball in the yard. Skye is active but also likes to lounge after some activity.

A 4-year-old lab mix. Ace is a very energetic and playful pup. He loves to cuddle up in your arms when you crouch down to him and will be a huge snuggler. Being that he has been raised in a kennel environment, he will need some work on his basic obedience skills.

An 8-year-old bullmastiff/boerboel mix. Orion walks well on a leash but can be strong and will need a family with good dog-handling skills. This big guy is looking for a quieter forever home outside of city-life. He is crate trained and finds comfort in a regular routine.

A 6-year-old shepherd mix. Juno is a sweet, loving, and loyal boy. He is a smart, eager-to-please dog who thrives with structure and consistency. Juno already knows sit, down, and his adorable “happy spin” at mealtime. He would do great in a home that wants to continue working on training while providing both mental and physical outlets.

Meet Koda
A 4-year-old retriever/newfoundland mix. Koda is happiest when playing ball or when in close proximity of his one 'person'. He's loving and affectionate with 'his person' but being part of a busy family where people are coming and going is challenging for him. He will do best with a single, experienced dog owner, who has the physical space (aka yard/rural vs a townhome in a city), time, patience and energy to work with him.

A 4-year-old pointer/lab mix. Calliope is an energetic and playful girl and will make her forever family very happy! She loves the outdoors, and would make a great hiking or running partner. She will thrive in a home that can provide continued support of basic obedience and working on not jumping when excited.

Meet Lady
A 9-year-old retriever mix. Lady is very smart and a quick learner, which will make training a breeze! She would love a home with a yard where she can explore and lounge! Due to her size and strength, we are recommending kids over 10 years old.
